Abstract

1455861 Flower supports J B BROWN 19 Sept 1974 [13 July 1973] 33418/73 Heading A4U A holder for supporting cut flowers comprises a flexible sleeve 2 packed with particulate material 3 for holding and supporting the stems or wires attached to the stems of the flowers. The sleeve is preferably made from 300 to 500 gauge polythene and the material 3 is preferably peat although it may be grass cuttings, moss, wood chips, wood sawdust, foliage, earth or sand. The packed sleeve is bent to form an annulus, the ends of the sleeve being joined by adhesive tape 4.
