Abstract

1434697 Pesticide compositions E I DU PONT DE NEMOURS & CO 22 Oct 1974 [23 Oct 1973] 45654/74 Heading A5E An aqueous suspension of a pesticide comprises a) at least one pesticide having a maximum particle size of 250 microns, a melting point above 50‹C and a solubility in the suspension of less than 500 ppm at 25‹C, said pesticide comprising 8-40 weight percent of the suspension; b) a solution of one or more of (NH4)2SO4, NH4.HSO4, MgSO4, Na2SO4, NaHSO4, Na2HPO4, NaH2PO4, (NH4)2.HPO4, NH4.H2PO4 or their hydrates, MgSO4 not being used in admixture with a phosphate salt, the salt solution having a concentration by weight of 20-125 parts of salt per 100 parts of water of the suspension, said solution comprising 50- 91.9 weight per cent of the suspension: and c) sodium, ammonium, calcium or magnesium lignosulphonate in amount 0.1-10% of the suspension. Additives such as wetting agents, corrosion inhibitors, may also be present. A list of specified pesticides is included in the specification.
