Abstract

1433230 Watch crowns DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 17 Dec 1973 [29 Dec 1972] 58287/73 Heading G3T A watch crown 14 comprises a head 15 having a bore 16 in which is secured a shaft 20 which projects beyond the head and has its end in engagement with the closed end of the head, the shaft being an interference fit in a central bore 24 of a bushing 23 secured within the head. As shown the shaft has a flange 22 and the bushing 23 is of nickel silver or plastics. Numerous other embodiments are described, in which the flange is adjacent the closed end of the head, or in which the shaft has a reduced diameter end forced in the bushing Fig. 4 (not shown). The head and shaft may be of different materials.
