1430245 Lampholder LUCAS ELECTRICAL CO Ltd 29 Nov 1973 [12 Dec 1972] 57180/72 Heading H2E A bayonet type bulbholder comprises a tubular body 2 open at both ends and tapering towards the end through which the bulb is inserted, and a compression spring 13 retained in the body by an extension 14 of the spring. The body may be die-cast, and the centre contact 12 for the bulb 8 is insulated from the spring 13. The extension 14 may have a hooked end 15 or it may be riveted at 18; in the latter instance, the body may be insulating.
