Abstract

1,190,618. Lampholders. PROJECTEURS CIBIE. 28 June, 1967 fli July, 1966], No. 29739/67. Heading H2E. Lampholder contacts 2 and 3 pass through the base 1a of an insulating body 1, the contact 3 being secured to a spring-loaded insulating washer 4 by a bent-over lug 3c which engages the base contact P of a bayonet-type lamp L, and the contact 2, which engages the side contact of the lamp, being held against the body inner wall by a lug 2c. The body 1, which includes bayonet slots 1b, preferably is resilient, and includes a skirt 1e and opposed projections 1f for mounting it to a vehicle reflector R in bayonet manner. In a modification (Fig. 7, not shown), an annular flange (1<1>e) and a resilient washer (20) replace the skirt 1e.
