Abstract

1428619 Antiskid braking systems WAGNER ELECTRIC CORP 20 March 1974 [30 March 1973] 12280/74 Heading F2F An antiskid braking control system has at least one selected circuit with a power input terminal, means connected between a power source and the power input terminal and operative to disconnect the input terminal from the power source upon detection of a failure or malfunction, means operative to connect the input terminal to ground upon such detection and means for warning of and indicating such power interruption and grounding of the terminal. Separate circuits 14, 16, 18 control independently three wheels or the wheels on three sets of axles, power being supplied from a source 20 through a switch 21 and interruptors 24, 26, 28 and a logic circuit 10 performing the function of an inclusive OR circuit provides voltage to an indicator 56 if the logic level at any input 42, 44, 46 changes from "1" to "0". Inputs to switches 30, 32, 34 are connected to the output of interrupters 24, 26, 28 and the output of each switch connected to ground, the switches being controlled by the circuits 14, 16, 18. Fig. 2 shows a logic circuit and warning indicator arrangement including diodes Dl, D2, D3 and a transistor switch Q1, malfunction in a slip control circuit causing the energization of a lamp 60 and buzzer 72.
