1425901 Pulping OWENS-ILLINOIS INC 11 May 1973 [15 May 1972] 22551/73 Heading D2W An at least partially impregnated permeable corrugating medium comprises cooking a hardwood in an aqueous solution free of sulphur compounds and containing from 8-20 g/l of alkali metal hydroxide and 80-90 g/l of alkali metal carbonate expressed as alkali metal oxide. The preferred hydroxide and carbonate are sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate.
