Abstract

1424369 Cascade development apparatus ITEK CORP 18 June 1973 [3 July 1972] 28821/73 Heading G2H A cascade developing apparatus includes an endless roughened belt 54 moving upwards or downwards adjacent the image bearing surface 52 to increase turbulence of the developer. The belt may be conductive or have conductive inserts to act as a development electrode. As shown a bucket conveyer 36 loads developer into a hopper 48 having an adjustable dispensing orifice 50.
