Abstract

1420971 Developing apparatus AGFAGEVAERT AG 18 Dec 1972 [17 Dec 1971] 58297/72 Heading G2H In a cascade developing apparatus surplus carrier particles 1 a are removed from a photoconductive surface 7 by a flexible resilient strip 12. The strip is positioned such that if a carrier particle is caught between the edge 12a and the moving surface 7, the strip flexes so that the particle is discharged from the apparatus. A further, fixed particle removal means may be provided upstream of the strip.
