Abstract

1420905 Compressing powder JURID WERKE GmbH and MASCHINENFABRIK LAUFFER & BUTSCHER GmbH & CO KG 5 June 1974 [6 June 1973] 24871/74 Heading B5A A die 52 with punches 41, 51 is fed with powder by a shoe 2 traversed over the die table 1 by a piston and cylinder 61, 6; when the shoe is above the die a grating 3 is reciprocated or vibrated relative the die by the piston and cylinder. The shoe drive is effected via a pistonrod 62, a yoke 71 and a bolt 25 which passes with clearance through the yoke and has a head 28 and an adjustable stop 26. The yoke has bolts 73 attached to the grating whereby the grating can be reciprocated relative the shoe. A slotted plate extending from the yoke controls the operation of the apparatus by actuating a switch.
