Abstract

Oven stoves.-An oven, suitable for use in enamelling, is provided with vertical heating- tubes b at each side which convey the gases from burners f in a chamber c beneath to pipes or conduits g extending separately along the sides at the top of the oven chamber. Warm air is admitted to the oven chamber through tubes h extending through the chamber c and escapes through an outlet i fitted with a regulating-valve.. Regulating-valves may also be fitted in the outlets from the pipes or conduits g. The pipes b may be secured at their lower ends on domed conduits above the floor of the oven chamber, or in conduits formed by oblique plates at the bottom side corners, and the upper conduits g may similarly be formed by oblique plates.
