Abstract

1405931 Sliding door hangers; ball and socket joints P C HENDERSON Ltd 27 April 1973 [26 May 1972] 24922/72 Headings E1J and E2F [Also in Division B7] A hanger 1 for a slidable door includes an aperture 7 in its upper surface having a partially closed mouth 6 such that a member 2 can be inserted through the mouth, Figure 2, and then orientated to a position, Figure 3, in which its removal is prevented by lips 6 partially closing the mouth, and the member 2 being connectible to a bolt 3 for connection to a door, the bolt preventing the member being moved back to the orientation in which it can be removed from the aperture. The bolt is received in a bore 8 in the hanger's lower surface. The member 2 is pivoted relative to the hanger. The hanger may include wheels or slides for engaging a track.
