1386766 Wheeled lifting apparatus POWER LIFTS Ltd 7 July 1972 [13 July 1971] 32817/71 Heading B8H Wheeled lifting apparatus comprises a load lifting platform 2 carrying an actuator 18 which, when the platform 2 is raised, engages and pivots a bell crank lever 11 to lower a ground engaging pad 6. Thus movement of the apparatus is prevented when the platform is raised. The lever 11 is connected to the pad 6 by a link 12, the pivot between the lever 11 and link 12 being over-centre when the pad is lowered so as to hold the pad against the ground . A member 19 carried by the platform engages the lever 11 to raise the pad when the platform is lowered.
