Abstract

1376845 Electric timepieces SUWA SEIKOSHA KK 27 Jan 1972 [12 Feb 1971] 3876/72 Heading G3T An electronic timepiece movement with an easily removable vibrator comprises a tuning fork vibrator 20, a gear train 13, 14, 15, and a transducer wheel 16 for transmitting vibratory motion from the vibrator to the gear train, neither the gear train nor the axis of the transducer overlapping the vibrator. Preferably neither the support plate 11 for the gear train nor the circuit block 30 overlaps the vibrator. The transducer wheel 16 may be a toothed ratchet wheel or a magnetic wheel, a suitable operating ratchet pin or magnetic pin being provided on the vibrator. The vibrator is driven by a coil 26 deriving its signal from the circuit block 30 powered by a battery. The coil and the circuit block are arranged so as not to overlap the gear train or the transducer.
