Abstract

1370525 Dynamo-electric machines ALFRED TEVES GmbH 16 March 1972 [19 March 1971] 12350/72 Heading H2A A wheel speed sensor 6 is mounted on a flange 10 integral with a stub axle 1 and having a mounting surface 11 accurately concentric with the axle so that when the sensor is attached thereto a predetermined air gap is provided between the sensor and a toothed rotor 5 mounted coaxially on a wheel hub 4. The attachment of the sensor may be effected by bolts (14) passing through lateral lugs (12) on the sensor body or by means of spring clips several forms of which are illustrated in Figs. 3a-3c (not shown).
