Abstract

1351783 Clips T WATKIN M W FRIEDMAN and A S FRIEDMAN 9 Aug 1971 [1 July 1971] 37274/71 Heading E2B A plastics clip for gripping soft material such as folded clothing has a pair of wider flaired lips 18, 20 at its entrance on arms 12, 14 respectively. This facilitates entry of the article to the gripping point 18f, 20f and to interfitting undulating gripping surfaces 12c, 14c, (Fig. 8, not shown). The outer form of the clip, indicated by lines P 1 and P 2 , is parallel for ease of stacking, in a supply chute 25 Fig. 9, from whence they are unloaded by a pusher 32 being opened round the garment G by removable ramps 34, 38, Fig. 12.
