Abstract

1349087 Space heating or cooling units RIELLO CONDIZIONATORI SAS DI GIORDANO RIELLO & C 18 June 1971 [20 June 1970] 28604/71 Heading F4V [Also in Division F1] A unit air heater or cooler comprises an outer casing housing a refrigerating system having an evaporator 32 and a condenser 30, centrifugal fan impellers 16, 18 for passing separate air streams through the evaporator 32 and condenser 30 respectively and a fan housing formed by upper and lower moulded components 12, 10 which include partition walls necessary to keep the air streams separate. The condenser 30 extends the full height of the unit and a partition 14 maintains the two air streams separate in the space within the casing above the upper component 12. The components 10, 12 are moulded from polyamide, polyester or copolymers thereof reinforced with glass fibres or acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer. The partition 14 is moulded from expanded polystyrene.
