Abstract

1341404 Electro-photography XEROX CORP 21 Dec 1970 [29 Dec 1969] 60531/70 Heading G2H [Also in Division B2] Carrier grit is removed from used toner/ carrier developer by preferential deposition of the grit on a suitably charged photo-conductive surface during cascade application of the developer, the surface being that of a reusable xerographic drum or discardable xero-graphic plate. The grit may be removed from a drum in the same manner as residual toner remaining after transfer of a developed image (Fig. not shown).
