Abstract

1338079 Developing apparatus XEROX Corp 21 Dec 1970 [31 Dec 1969] 60547/70 Heading G2H Developer powder in a sump 2 is tribo electrically picked up by a rotating spiral wire 4 for transfer to the fibres of a rotating developing brush (14), Fig. 2 (not shown), which partially extends into the sump 2 through a slot 6. The brush applies the developer to a latent electrostatic or magnetic image. Two axially spaced wire-and-sump assemblies may be used.
