Abstract
1334698 Regulating I.C. engine fuel and air supplies HONDA GIKEN KOGYO KK 17 Dec 1970 [22 May 1970] 60088/70 Heading F1B The increase in air flow through the intake passage 9 when the main throttle valve 7 is opened rapidly from the idling position is delayed by a piston throttle valve 10 upstream of the main valve. The valve 10 is responsive to the pressure in the passage 9 downstream of the valve through an opening 15 to the gap A between the valve and the passage. The supply of fuel to the engine is controlled by the setting of the valve 7, a respective injection pump 3 supplying each injector 4.
