Abstract

1330324 Seat backs provided with cushioning UNIVERSAL OIL PRODUCTS CO 4 Feb 1972 [9 Dec 1970] 58440/70 Headings A4J and A4M A back panel 21 of a vehicle seat is connected to a frame 10 by an S-shaped, flexible, moulded strip 17, the frame having a cushion 13 secured thereto. The frame which is preferably three sided and of channel-section has a wire grid 11 suspended therein by springs 12. The edges of the cushion covering 14 are folded over the rear flange 10a of the frame and are anchored to the rear flange by retaining clips (16) Fig.2 (not shown) over which one recess of the strip 17 is fitted.
