Vertical strips (34) of pile fabric are provided on a vehicle seat back for the attachment, at any desired level, of a lumbar support cushion (30), having corresponding strips (32) of pile-engaging hook members for releasable engagement with strips (34). Strips (32) may be used to support the cushion (30) in an out-of-use position on the side of the seat back.
