Abstract

1329148 Clocks and watches BUNKER RAMO CORP 29 Dec 1970 [2 March 1970] 61644/70 Heading G3T In a pin pallet escapement, a pallet lever 40' pivoted at 45 has an aperture 63 defining abutment arms 60, 61 which co-operate with a pillar post 14 to limit excessive oscillation of the lever 40' and thus protect pallet pins 46. The lever 40' normally oscillates through an angle # and the aperture 63 is so arranged that the lever travel in either direction cannot exceed the angle # by more than the subtended angle of a pin 46. The possible deflection of a pin 46 is thus limited to one pin diameter. A portion 90 of the lever periphery is so shaped that at no time does it extend beyond the outlines of frame plates 12.
