Abstract

1,196,579. Clocks and watches. UNITED STATES TIME CORP. March 14, 1969 [April 30, 1968], No. 13635/69. Heading G3T. A balance spring is round in cross-section and wound to a non-uniform pitch. Two such springs 32, 33 may be utilized in an electronic watch in the mounting of a balance 20 and serve to make electrical connections between an electronic circuit 27 and coil 24 carried by the balance 20. The coil 24 co-operates with permanent magnets 25 in a system for maintaining the oscillations of the balance 20.
