Abstract

1324969 Screen-printing apparatus STORK AMSTERDAM NV 10 March 1972 [16 March 1971] 11336/72 Heading B6C The angle at which a squeegee 6 contacts the inside surface of a rotary cylindrical printing screen 2 is adjusted, without displacement of the working edge of the squeegee, by rotation of the squeegee and its mounting about pivots co-linear with its working edge. The squeegee is carried by bellcranks 8, each of which is pivoted about an axis 9 by action of a hand wheel 23. The bellcranks 8 are themselves carried by levers 11, and a pneumatic cylinder 14 moves these to lift and lower the squeegee assembly, e.g. to adjust the pressure of the squeegee on the screen independently of the angular adjustment.
