Die Erfindung betrifft ein Rakelgerät zum Auftragen von Auftragsmaterial wie ggf. schäumbaren Substanzen unterschiedlicher Viskosität, Beschichtungsstoffen, Lacken, Klebern, Pasten od.dgl. auf eine Auftragsfläche (Substrat) mit einer anpreßbaren Rakel, die in eine verschwenkbare Profilleiste integrierte ist. Ein solches Rakelgerät wird in Maschinen für Flachschablonen-Druck, für Rundschablonen-Auftragungen und/oder Vorrichtungen für schablonenlose vollflächige Auftragungen verwendet, wobei die Breite der Auftragsfläche bzw. die Rakelerstreckung mehrere Meter betragen kann. Je nach Maschinentyp lassen sich bemusternde Auftragungen (Bedrucken) und/oder vollflächige Auftragungen (z.B. Imprägnieren, Beschichten, Färben, Lackieren) ausführen. Mit der an die Profilleistenrückseite anpreßbaren Rakelrolle kann, allerdings nur in praktisch beschränktem Maß, zusätzlich zu einer Rollrakelwirkung eine das Auftragungsergebnis beeinflussende Streichrakelwirkung erzeugt werden. Gemäß einer noch anderen Rakeleinrichtung (DE-A 22 07 935) ist eine mit einem Tragholm und mit Lenkern starr verbundene Rakelschiene (Rakelelement) in eine gegenüber der Auftragsfläche fest zu arretierende Winkellage mittels eines Kurbel-Hebel-Triebs einzustellen. Zwischen der Rakelschiene und einer an dieser befestigten Abstreichklinge ist eine Luftkammer zur Anpressung der Streichklinge angeordnet. Die Mittel zum Arretieren des Rakelelements erfordern einen relativ großen Montageraum, und es besteht eine unerwünschte Abhängigkeit der Größe des Substanzspalts von der pneumatischen Anpreßkraft. Eine definierte Änderung des Auftragungsergebnisses während des Maschinenbetriebs ist nicht möglich. Bei den bekannten Vorrichtungen müssen die Auftragungsmenge, die Größe des Substanzraumes und/oder dessen Form mit der Wahl der Rakel und/oder zugeordneter Profilleisten vor Inbetriebnahme einer Druckvorrichtung bestimmt werden. Damit ist infolge der schwenkbeweglichen Profilelementgestaltung eine besonders gute Wirkverbindung mit der in dem Profilelement gelagerten Rakel und folglich eine sehr universelle Funktionseinheit zwischen Profilfläche und Rakel ausgebildet. Durch die Schwenkbeweglichkeit ist der Arbeitsspalt bzw. der Substanzstauraum insbesondere auch während eines Maschinenbetriebes in großem Umfang veränderbar. Für bestimmte Auftragungen ist es besonders zweckmäßig, daß mit der Rakel-/Profilfläche ein flachförmiger Arbeitsspalt ausbildbar ist, der durch die Profilelement-Schwenkbeweglichkeit insbesondere bis annähernd zum Keilwinkel Null veränderbar ist, während für andere Anwendungen ein mit der Rakel-/Profilfläche ausgebildeter steilförmiger Substanzstauraum oder Arbeitsspalt besonders zweckmäßig ist. Mit einem flachförmigen Arbeitsspalt bzw. einem flachen Substanzkeil wird ein relativ großer Druck auf die Substanz ausgeübt, so daß die Eindringtiefe in ein Substrat entsprechend groß ist. Mit einem steilförmigen Arbeitsspalt ist ein relativ großer Substanzraum erreicht, wobei in einem solchen Fall der Druck auf die Substanz relativ gering ist. Jeweils ein flachförmiger Arbeitsspalt bzw. ein steilförmiger Arbeitsspalt lassen sich durch die schwenkbewegliche Gestaltung des Profilelements kontinuierlich und - falls gewünscht - nur geringfügig ändern. Dem über der Rakelerstreckung liegenden insbesondere stabförmigen Permanentmagneten kommt eine Doppelfunktion zu. Außerhalb des Maschinenbetriebszustandes wirkt er infolge seiner Permanentmagnetkraft als Rakelrollen-Haltestab oder -Balken, während er im Betrieb der Maschine als magnetisierbare, von der Magnetvorrichtung anziehbare Masse zur Ausübung der Profilleisten- bzw. Rakelanpressung dient. Mit der (Permanent-) Magnet-Rakelrollenhalterung ist - wie bereits erwähnt - erreicht, daß das Rakelgerät mit Rakelrollen relativ kleinen Durchmessers betrieben werden kann. Diese sind aber dennoch - wie dies bei herkömmlichen Rakelgeräten oder -vorrichtungen nicht möglich ist - infolge der mit der Profilleiste ausgebildeten Funktionseinheit zum Auftrag praktisch jeder gewünschten Substanzmenge verwendbar. Diese universelle Einsatzmöglichkeit eines relativ dünnen Rakelrollenstabes wird u.a. insbesondere auch dadurch erreicht, daß im Bedarfsfall eine Verstärkung der magnetischen Anzieh-Anpreßkraft auf das Tragelement bzw. die Profilleiste, die auf der Rakelrolle aufliegt, bewirkt wird. Damit kann für sich oder ggf. zusätzlich zu der als vorteilhaft beschriebenen Scheitelanlage eine Abdichtung gegen die Stausubstanz entlang der Rakelerstreckung erreicht werden. Claims (15)

  1. Doctor device (3) for the application of material (5), such as optionally foamable substances having differing viscosity, coating substances, lacquers, adhesives, pastes, etc. to an application surface (4) having the following features:
    a) the doctor device (3) comprises a profile strip (30) forming a one-piece handling unit and in which a doctor (301, 302) is integrated;
    b) the profile strip (30) and/or parts (35, 301, 302, 340) integrated therein are at least partially made from a material on which is acting a magnetic field of a magnetic device (6) arranged below the application surface in order to magnetically press the doctor (301, 302) toward the application surface (4);
    c) a part integrated in the profile strip (30) is either formed as a coating blade doctor (301) or as a roll doctor (302);
    d) a mechanical or material-elastic hinge (32) is arranged on the profile strip (30), the longitudinal axis of the hinge forming a joint axis (320) determined by the extension of the doctor and extending excentrically with respect to the longitudinal centre of gravity axis (312) of the profile strip (30), the latter axis (312) being parallel with the longitudinal axis, wherein
    e) the profile strip (30) is pivotable about the joint axis (320) as well as about the pressing line (36) of the coating blade doctor (301) and about the roll doctor (302), respectively, so that the profile strip (30), under the influence of the magnetic force of the magnetic device, can be retained in a tilting position being determined by the spacing (A, A1, A2) of the joint (32) from the application surface (4).
  2. Doctor device according to claim 1, characterized in that the profile strip (30) has at least one longitudinally axially parallel doctor or profile surface (310, 311) facing the application surface (4) and which forms an operating gap (r) and/or application material area (51, 52) tapering in wedge-shaped manner in the direction of the vicinity of a doctor pressing line (36).
  3. Doctor device according to claim 2, characterized in that a low-angle shaped operating gap (r) can be formed by the doctor/profile surface (311), the gap being changeable by the pivoting movability of the profile strip, in particular up to a wedge angle of approximately zero.
  4. Doctor device according to claim 2, characterized in that a high-angle shaped operating gap (r) can be formed by the doctor/profile surface (310), the gap being changeable by the pivoting movability of the profile strip.
  5. Doctor device according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a coating doctor (301) can give way in the direction remote from the application surface (4), wherein in particular the profile strip (31) is cut free on the side remote from the application surface (4) in such a manner that a recess (37) is formed on the back side of the coating doctor (301).
  6. Doctor device according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a roll doctor (302) is carried or mounted as a freely running doctor roll in a receptacle (314) of the profile strip (31), the receptacle preferably having a rectangular cross-section.
  7. Doctor device according to claim 6, characterized in that a magnetizable roll doctor (302) is mounted in a receptacle (314), preferably having a rectangular cross-section, in free running manner against a sliding surface or coating (315) of the profile strip (31) by the force of a magnetic device being arranged in an axis (312) which is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the profile strip (31).
  8. Doctor device according to claim 7, characterized in that the magnetic device (34) comprises a permanent magnet (340) arranged along the longitudinal axis (312) of the profile strip and in particular constructed as a support member (35).
  9. Doctor device according to one of the claims 6 to 8, characterized in that the roll doctor (302) is movably mounted in the receptacle (314) transversely to its extension.
  10. Doctor device according to one of the claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the profile strip (30) comprises at least one support member (35), in particular through support member, extending with the doctor and having a mass serving for the pressing of the doctor.
  11. Doctor device according to claim 10, characterized in that the support member (35) is made from a magnetizable material such as steel or the like.
  12. Doctor device according to claim 10 or 11, characterized in that the support member (35) has a rectangular or circular cross-section.
  13. Doctor device according to one of the claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the profile strip (30) comprises at least one connecting element, preferably in the form of a plug or clamp element, for the rapidly detachable pivoting connection.
  14. Doctor device according to one of the claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the profile strip (30) is pivotable by means of a swivelling arm (38) arranged on the profile strip.
  15. Doctor device according to one of the claims 1 to 14, characterized in that the profile strip (30) is partially made of plastic.
