Abstract

1322603 Electric couplings H G BERNARD 19 April 1971 [29 Oct 1970] 20589/71 Heading H2E An electrical connector block comprises an insulated plastics casing containing a bored metallic core 1 having at least one wire clamping screw 3 and a passage 9, perpendicular to the bore, passing through the insulated casing and the core such that, when a plurality of blocks are physically interconnected by means of the dovetail projections 6 and grooves 7, an electrical connecting wire may interconnect the cores of each block. The clamping screw grips a wire inserted into the bore axially as well as the connecting wire of the passage. The connector blocks may be united in a single moulding having a plurality of cores with a single through passage.
