Abstract
1317595 Yarn traverse means LEESONA CORP 22 May 1970 [23 May 1969] 25042/70 Heading D1J A yarn traversing apparatus of the kind having a first belt 50, Fig. 2, for traversing the yarn in one direction and a second belt 52 for traversing the yarn in the other direction includes yarn guiding means 100, see also Fig. 4, that includes oppositely inclined yarn guiding surfaces 120, 122 effecting disengagement of the yarn from one belt at the end of one traverse and generally simultaneous location of the yarn for engagement by the other belt. Fig. 5 is a cross-section through the yarn guiding means 100 at one end of the traverse, and Fig. 7 is a cross-section through the yarn guiding means 100 at the other end of the traverse. In Fig. 5 the yarn guiding means 100 causes the yarn to be offered to fingers 90 on one belt and be held away from the fingers 92 of the other belt. In Fig. 7 the yarn guiding means 100 causes the yarn to be offered to the fingers 92 and to be held away from the fingers 90.
