Abstract
1315634 Expansion joints DAIMLER-BENZ AG 16 July 1971 [18 July 1970] 33562/71 Heading F2G [Also in Division F1] In an I.C. engine exhaust manifold (see Division F1) compensators between exhaust pipe sections comprise a flame tube 8 and a metal bellows 1 having cylindrical extensions 3 beyond conically-shaped end portions for attachment at its ends to exhaust pipe sections. In another embodiment the flame tube is clamped at one end to an exhaust pipe section, its other end being located in a recess in the other exhaust pipe section.
