Abstract

1314659 Frequency discriminator COMPAGNIE INDUSTRIELLE DES TELECOMMUNICATION CIT-ALCATEL 24 Feb 1972 [24 Feb 1971] 8665/72 Heading H3A A frequency discriminator comprises a phasemeter 6 with a linear characteristic in the range 0 to 360 degrees connected to the input 1 directly and also via a second order symmetric filter 4, there being provided an amplifier 8, e.g. an integrating amplifier between the phasemeter output and a control input of the filter. The filter 4 may be an active filter whose tuned frequency is controlled by the control voltage applied via a control circuit 13. The control voltage also obtainable as an output at terminal 14 is a unidirectional voltage varying linearly with frequency. Voltage limiters 2, 5 may be placed in the input paths of the phasemeter.
