Abstract

1309315 Fastener driving tools BUKAMA GmbH 13 July 1970 [23 Aug 1969] 33929/70 Heading B4C A portable fastener driving tool comprises a driver for driving fasteners from a strip into a workpiece, a drive track for guiding the driver, a magazine of spiral form for receiving a strip of fasteners, and a spring-biased pusher for effecting feed of the fasteners towards the drive track. As illustrated the fasteners are nails. The magazine 9 at its rear end has a slot 20 for the introduction of a fresh fastener strip. Plate 18 of the pusher and plate 19 which extend into the channel defined by the magazine are displaced when a fresh fastener strip is introduced into the magazine. The pusher 11 is urged towards the drive track by a coil-spring 16, one end of which is fixed adjacent the drive track and the other end of which is fixed to a reel 15 pivotably mounted on an axle 14 secured to the pusher. The driver 5 is secured to a piston reciprocable by compressed air within a cylinder.
