Abstract

1,012,126. Cartridge-actuated tools. OLIN MATHIESON CHEMICAL CORPORATION. Sept. 7, 1962 [Sept. 8, 1961], No. 707/65. Divided out of 1,012,125. Drawings to Specification. Heading B4C. The subject matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that of Specification 1,012,125 but the claims are directed to the arrangement in which the piston means comprises a driving piston 86 and a separate pusher 87, the front end of the body 21 of the tool having a buffer means for absorbing the impact of the piston. In a modification of the buffer means disclosed in the above Specification, the rubber rings 36a are separated by a number of separate spacers 102 such that when the rubber rings are compressed, the spacers abut to form a continuous guide for the driver 87.
