Abstract

1292179 Securing cushions FORD MOTOR CO Ltd 10 Dec 1970 [22 Dec 1969] 58626/70 Heading A4M [Also in Division E2] A cushion pad 1 containing a reinforcing member 2 is detachably secured to a support 3 by a resilient clip 4 having a first portion 5, bent back on itself to define opposed surfaces which engage opposite sides of the member 2 when removably passed into an aperture 9 in the member 2, and a second, generally V-shaped portion 7 provided with barbs 8 which hold the portion 7 in an aperture 10 in the support 3. The first portion 5 and aperture 9 are shaped such that interengagement is affected by rotation of the clip 4 through 90 degrees after the portion 5 has engaged the aperture 9.
