Abstract

A resilient platform E is anchored to an intermediate portion of a rod B having its ends engaged in axially aligned passageways G formed in a pair of frame elements A. As shown, a clip D embedded in the platform E is secured to the rod B by a separate, doubled hooked member C. In alternative embodiments, the clip is of triangular or U-shape and is formed with hooked free ends which engage the rod B directly. The passageway G may be plugged, at F, to retain the rod B.
