Abstract

1285603 Laminated products H BRATTRUD 15 Sept 1969 45431/69 Heading B5N [Also in Divisions E1-E2] A building panel comprises a rectangular plastics or metal frame 3 made up of four members, two of which have inwardly projecting undercut grooves, 8-9-10 and 13-14-15 receiving the edges of wood 6 or aluminium 12 facing sheets. The panel is filled with foamed plastics 11. The opposed facing sheets may be of the same material. The other two frame members are narrower than the ones receiving the edges of the facing sheets, i.e. they are of a depth corresponding to the distance between the flanges 9 and 13. Adjacent panels may be joined by a resilient U section element engaging the grooves defined by portions 13, 14, 15.
