Abstract

1276363 Artificial resin dispersions RICOH KK 28 May 1969 [30 May 1968 25 March 1969] 26995/69 Heading C3R [Also in Division G2] Electrophotographic liquid developer comprises a carrier liquid containing (a) dispersed toner particles comprising a pigment and a polarity-control agent, and (b) a dithiophosphate of formula (in which R I-IV are each 3-18C alkyl or aralkyl in which the alkylene chain is 3-18 C; Me is a divalent metal atom). Preferably Me is Zn, Ba, Ca, Sr or Mg, the pigment is carbon black, the polarity-control resin is a phenol modified xylene and the developer may also contain an acrylic copolymer to improve dispersion.
