A machine for processing tea leaf comprises a stationary cylinder 1 closed at one end 2 and open at the other, enclosing a feed worm 4 mounted on a rotatable shaft 5, and a stationary sleeve 6 adjustably fitted at the open end of the cylinder, for example by screw thread 12 and nut 13, to enclose a conical or frusto-conical attachment 7 on an extension of the shaft 5, the open end of the sleeve 6 being supported at two sides by two support lugs 8 mounted on cylinder support bars 9 and locked in position by locking nuts 10.
