1,260,081. Paper and like sacks. WILH SCHAUMAN A.B. OY. 1 April, 1970 [3 April, 1969], No. 15516/70. Heading B8K. [Also in Division A4] A bag or sack 1, Fig. 1, of paper, plastics or fabric, has a bar 2 secured to one wall adjacent and parallel to the mouth edge, the bar being deformable to remain in its deformed condition. The bag may be filled, the mouth closed and rolled around the bar and the corners bent over as in Fig. 2 to hold the bag closed and provide a handle or carrying grip. The bar may be formed by paper, board or plastics, or a flattened tube of several layers of paper secured to the bag by gluing, the bar containing one or more metal wires 3.
