Abstract

1,255,200. Valved bags and sacks. ROBINSON SACKS Ltd. 6 March, 1970 [17 March, 1969], No. 13914/69. Heading B8K. A sack 1 including a valve formed by a transversely folded strip 4 inserted in a longitudinal overlapping seam 3 of the sack has a patch 6 secured transversely over the seam 3 adjacent the transverse fold 5 in the strip 4. The free ends of the strip 4 are secured under an end closure strip 2. The sack may be formed from a plastics material and the seam 3 joined by a hot melt or alternatively the sack may be formed from a cross-plastics laminate and the seam 3 joined by adhesive.
