[Also in Division F2] A closure plug 20 for a gas meter by-pass line 14 comprises a metal holder 28 having two different diameter bores 38, 40 joined by a shoulder 42 and containing a resilient rubber core 44 held in radial and longitudinal compression and having a tapered top opening 46 to receive a needle and valve 54 leading to a gas pressure regulator 116, a gas pressure gauge 118 and a low-pressure probe 84 which communicates with a gas meter outlet fitting 66.
