Abstract

1,236,254. False twist spindle drives. SCRIVEN & PAGET Ltd. 16 Aug., 1968, No. 39287/68. Heading DID. False twist spindles 17, 18 of a yarn processing machine are driven by a plurality of endless belts 16, 20 which are driven from a single common motor driven belt 7. The' endless belts have two substantially parallel runs. As shown, the belts 16, 20 are guided and supported by idler pulleys 30, 40, 11, 12, 13 and 14 and driven by pulleys 15, 16 from a belt 17 itself driven from an electric motor drive shaft pulley 10. The spindles may be driven by rollers driven from the parallel belt runs.
