Abstract

1,235,897. Wheelnut covers. A. M. RAMSDEN. 25 Aug., 1969 [25 May, 1968], No. 25103/68. Heading F2H. A cover for fitment over a motor vehicle wheelnut comprises a threaded portion 12 for engagement with the thread of a bolt on to which the wheelnut is tightened and one or more screw-threaded apertures 13, the or each aperture being arranged to receive a threaded fastener which, when tightened, engages a face of the nut. As described, three apertures are provided and receive grub screws which, when tightened, prevent unauthorized removal of the nut.
