Abstract

1,230,066. Watches. OMEGA LOUIS BRANDT ol FRERE SA. Sept. 23, 1969, [Oct. 23, 1968], No. 46768/69. Heading G3T. A watch has a crown with a threaded part 7 which engages, when the crown is moved axially inwards, the tapping of a nut 9, which is prevented from moving axially but which is rotatable to displace the crown axially and causing it to compress gasket 13 against a shoulder 12 of the watch case, and causing the crown head 6, which has a non circular periphery to be engaged non- rotatably in a recess 24 in the watch case. In the outer position of the crown a sleeve 17 sewed to the crown and having a bore of square crosssection engages a similarly shaped part 19 of the winding stem 2 so that, turning of the crown winds the mainspring.
