Abstract

1,207,155. Aerating beverages. PORTER-LANCASTRIAN Ltd. 26 March, 1968 [12 April, 1967], No. 16671/67. Heading B1C. Free bubbles may be formed in beer containing dissolved gas by passing it through a perforated plate upstream of a venturiform restriction. An adaptor 12 for insertion in a dispense system comprises a body 12a having an apertured plate 12b upstream of a venturi 13, which has no air inducing arrangement. In an example, the plate 12b is of 16 gauge stainless steel and has five apertures each .023 inch diameter, one of which is coaxial with the bore. Other dimensions and angles are given.
