Abstract

1,206,938. Hair curling appliances. N. BEDACK. 6 Dec., 1967 [22 Dec., 1966], No. 57563/66 Heading A4V. A hair curler comprises a hollow tubular body sealed at both ends, containing a wax melting between room temperature and the boiling point of water, and means for holding in place hair wound on the tubular body. The body is preferably cylindrical and made of plastics material; it may have ridges or a mesh pattern on its outer face. The hair may be held in place by a partcylindrical mesh cage fitting over the body or by needle-like projections on the surface of the body.
