Abstract

1,204,710. Pure fluid amplifiers. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Oct.19, 1967 [Nov.28, 1966], No.47556/67. Heading G3H. A pure fluid proportional amplifier has, in addition to the usual vents 34, 36 further vents 38, 40 which are located (as shown) between the power jet 16 and the control jets 26, 28, 30, 32. By this arrangement unwanted interaction between the control jets is inhibited so improving the linearity of the amplifier over a wide range of operating pressures. In a modification Fig.3 (not shown) the pair of output passages is replaced by a single passage (52). Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,074, 346.
