Abstract

1,201,731. Child's bedwear. H. ALTHAUS-BURI. 1 April, 1968 [3 April, 1967], No. 15547/68. Heading A3V. [Also in Division A4] A bed or crib cover 2, 3 has a jacket part 7 extending from the edges of an aperture therein, elastic tensioning bands 2<SP>1</SP>, 3<SP>1</SP>, and straps 4, 5 to underlie the corners of a mattress. The jacket is integrally or detachably joined to the cover by a stretchable waist band 6 and an opening, closable by a sliding clasp fastener 9a, extends from the top of the jacket for insertion of the lower part of a child's body beneath the part 3 of the cover. The part 2 of the cover lies over or under a pillow, and a strap 10, secured at 11, to the back part of the junction between the cover and the jacket, and at the edges 12, 13, has tabs 14 for attachment to the bed. In a modification the jacket has shoulder straps instead of sleeves and or tensioning band extends all round the periphery of the cover.
