Abstract

1,198,352. Containers. SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ N.V. 17 Feb., 1969 [19 Feb., 1968], No. 7983/68. Heading B8P. A container of cellular plastics material comprises a box and a slip-over lid for the box, the lower edge of the rim 3 of the lid being provided with an inwardly and downwardly extending chamfer 4 for engagement with a complementarily shaped, open-sided groove 6 formed as an external step in the side wall 5 of the box. The chamfer may only comprise part of the rim of the lid (Fig. 2A, not shown). A depending, lid locating lug portion 8 may also be provided on the lid.
