Abstract

805,943. Lamp-holders. CARR FASTENER CO. Ltd. Dec. 14, 1956 [Jan. 4, 1956], No. 356/56. Class 38 (1). A holder for a bayonet-cap lamp of the type wherein the cap forms a contact comprises a hollow insulating body 1 in which is secured a metal sleeve 6 having bayonet slots 7 and a pair of lateral wings 9 which project through an opening 10 in the side wall of the body for the attachment of a lead wire 11 externally of the body. A spring-biased insulating plate 12 in the sleeve 6 carries, in the embodiment shown, a pair of contacts 16 whereby the holder may be used with a double-filament lamp. An annular wall 18 on the body has bayonet slots 19 for the attachment of the holder to a housing.
