Abstract
1,185,475. Cartons. UNILEVER Ltd. 4 Oct., 1967 [5 Oct., 1966], No. 44458/66. Heading B8P. A carton is provided with side walls 10 each provided with an outer base-forming panel 17 to which is hinged a partition flap 19 having a tab 21 at each end and at least one slot 23 so that on assembly the two flaps 19 stand in contact with each other to form a partition, the carton end walls 11 each being provided with an inner base-forming panel 24 having a slot 28 and a partition flap 26. On assembly as shown in Fig. 2 the inner panels 24 are folded down so that the partition flaps 19 extend through the slots 28 and the partition flaps 26 lie in the slots 23, the tabs 21 locking the panels 24 in place. The top of the carton is provided with gussets 35 and is folded over and stapled to form a flange 29 so that the cartons may be stacked. Hand holes 14 are provided in the blank and lines of weakness 15 are formed so that a section can be torn out to display the contents.
